Real Time Data From A Yuma2 Broadband Force-Balance Vertical Seismometer

The Yuma2 sensor was Designed by Dave Nelson and Brett Nordgren with additions from others.

The sensor output is monitored using the program Winsdr at 50 sps using a 10 vt input and utilizing GPS for time reference. The channel recordings are saved unfiltered. The display channels are updated every 15 minutes.

High Gain Yuma2 Output

The high gain channel display is low pass filtered at 0.070 hz and high passed filtered at 0.02 hz. The scale factor is 2. The high gain sensor sensitivity = 72,500 V-sec/m giving clipping level 130um/sec .

Low Gain Yuma2 Output

The low gain channel display is low pass filtered at 10.0 hz and high passed filtered at 0.02 hz. The scale factor is 2. The sensor sensitivity = 580 V-sec/m giving clipping level 1.7 cm/sec .
